Micromedex Mobile App (iPhone):

What iOS device versions are supported for the mobile apps?

Micromedex® mobile apps support iOS devices with Retina display and support the 4-inch display on iPhone 5.

iPhone 3GS and higher are supported; apps are no longer supported for iPhone 3G and lower devices.

How much space is required on my device to install the application?

Drug Information needs 24MB and Drug Interactions needs 12MB.

How often is your data reviewed for accuracy and correctness?

The data is under a constant review process and is updated as needed.

I am having a problem downloading the application. What can I do?

What happens if I lose or damage my device?

We will follow iTunes model, so you will be able to download it to your new device.

Is there a limit on the number of drugs in a drug interaction?

The interaction checker has been tested with up to 50 drugs.

There is one universal installer for all Apple® devices.

How do I renew my subscription?

You must renew your subscription through the iTunes® App Store.

How will my device receive updates?

You will be notified by the application when updates are available.

The subscription is 1 year from the date the application was first accessed.

Clinical Knowledge Objects:

What is Clinical Knowledge Objects® (CKO) Explorer?

This is a testing tool for your development team. Developers need a tool to perform queries in parallel to their front-end to see if they get the same results.

Can I use the CKO Explorer as my own front-end application?

Though the Sample client can perform most of the CKO functions, it displays the results in a very user-unfriendly format. This tool is best used for testing purposes only.

RED BOOK Database Services:

In what formats are the databases available?

Databases are sold as ASCII flat files. These raw data files are imported into a database management program and customized by each company.

How often is the data updated?

The system receives approximately 55,000 - 60,000 updates per year.

When are the Databases available for pickup by the customer?
